Day Job

I became a travel agent against my will. Ok, so that is a slight exaggeration. I loved travelling and was told by my parents that it was time to settle down and get a 'real job'. Little did I know I would be spending most of my days booking people on Holy Land Tours.

Popular Trips

It isn't quite as boring as it sounds. When the first Holy Land tour was placed on my desk, I can tell you that I let out a loud groan. I had been to Italy, France, Madrid, Guatemala, and a number of other exotic and fun places to see the beautiful sites, and an Israel tour seemed extremely dull in comparison.

Celebrating the ANZACs

Still, this was my job, so I knew I had no choice but to suck it up and get booking. The more I researched for my clients, the more involved I got. There were trips that took you on an ANZAC tour or even on a Gallipoli tour so you could see where the soldiers fought and were killed on that dreadful day. I was mesmerised and taken in by the history of it all.

Discovering Myself

I worked at the travel agent for two years before I finally took off on my own tour of Israel. After planning other people's trips for the past few years, I knew exactly where I wanted to go. It was the trip of a lifetime and one that I will never forget, in fact it led to a whole new career path.
